We’re currently looking for a focused and organised Accounts Manager to cover a 9 month maternity leave to join our growing team at Advertising Works. This part-time position will involve working closely with our Account Managers in order to be sure deadlines are met for invoicing at the end of each month.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Invoicing clients at the end of each month
• Sending out statements and chasing money owed in
• Logging all payments received on the database
• Writing out cheques
• Signing off purchase invoices after checking they are correct
• Closing off active jobs throughout the month ready to be invoiced
• Admin e.g photocopying invoices / filing / sorting invoice queries with clients / suppliers

Approx 18 hours a week

Personal Specification

• Excellent communication skills including professional telephone manner
• High level of motivation
• High level of organisational skills
• GCSE grade A-C English, Maths
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, such as Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small and busy team
• Be able to use own initiative
• Good social skills
• Quick to learn and not afraid to ask for help if required
• Responsible
• Punctual
• Smart personal presentation
• Have attention to detail
• An ability to work with tight deadlines
