Vacancy – Administration

At Advertising Works, we are hoping to find a helpful and organised individual to join our fast-paced working environment. This is a vital role in our busy company and will contribute to the way in which we communicate with clients and suppliers.

General Duties

• Taking incoming and outgoing calls, communicating over the telephone, dealing with customers and clients
• Liaising with suppliers; obtaining quotes and sending purchase orders
• Overseeing the packing, delivery and dispatch of finished products (such as leaflets and banners)
• Quality control of products
• Working closely with all departments including studio and creative team
• Liaising with clients, under the supervision of the agency manager
• Cleansing and updating the company be-spoke database system
• Meeting and greeting visitors
• Use excellent customer service continuously
• Work processing – Typing correspondence
• Ordering stationary supplies
• Filing and maintaining internal documents
• Tea and coffee making

Approx 37.5 hours a week – 9:00am – 5:30pm Mon – Fri

Personal Specification

• Excellent communication skills including professional telephone manner
• High level of motivation
• High level of organisational skills
• GCSE grade A-C English
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, such as Excel and Word
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small and busy team
• Be able to use own initiative
• Good social skills
• Quick to learn and not afraid to ask for help if required
• Responsible
• Punctual
• Smart personal presentation
• Have attention to detail
• An ability to work with tight deadlines
